Sacred Birth Keeper Spiral

More Details

The Sacred Birth Keeper Spiral offers an online training programme with two weekends in Glastonbury: 1-2 February and 20-21 December 2025.  Students can also participate online if they are unable to travel to Glastonbury.

We will meet on eight occasions in total, in connection with the seasonal festivals of the Wheel of the Year.

Course Content

Some of the subjects we will cover are the female body, the initiation into motherhood, the rhythms and cycles of nature and how this is reflected in our bodies, the changes of the seasons, the four elements, the influence of our foremothers, the threshold between life and death, archetypes and goddesses.

We will explore the meaning and importance of women’s circles, ceremonies and rituals, and how they can be used, designed and adapted for individual needs. Over the year, you will gather together a range of resources and materials, ideas and inspiration that you will be able to use and develop in ways that suit your circumstances and current and future work.

At the end of the year-long training, you will have established a personal relationship with the key themes and be able to create and birth your own ceremonies and rituals. You will also be able to incorporate the knowledge you acquire into other contexts, such as birth preparation classes, workshops, women’s circles, doula services etc.

The course suits individuals who are new to ceremonial practices, as well as experienced practitioners seeking to develop and deepen their practice and be part of a group where we support and learn from each other.

You will be creating and holding your own ceremonies with our help and support.

The course suits anyone who

  • wants to develop beyond your current capabilities
  • is motivated and assumes responsibility for your own learning
  • wants to start creating and holding circles and ceremonies (in your own way, using the tools we provide)

You will need a good internet connection and a space where you can work undisturbed during the online sessions.
