Spirit Babies Ceremony
with permission of and credit to Reverend Grace Jevons
A powerful Ceremony that is a sacred and healing ritual for mothers and parents who have experienced the loss of a baby. In this gentle ceremony, a symbolic baby is lovingly created and painted with clay, holding the essence of love, memory, and grief. The clay baby is then taken out onto the land, where—amongst the trees, wildflowers, and whispers of nature—it is ceremonially laid to rest. This ritual supports the grieving process by offering a moment of honouring, release, and deep connection with the spirit of the child, held tenderly in the embrace of Mother Earth.
