Way of the Temple Dancer:

An introductory course into the mysteries of sacred dance

Do you feel the movement of Goddess flowing through the rivers in your veins? Do you hear Her heartbeat as the rhythm of your soul? Do you yearn to connect deeper to yourself, your rhythm, your expression and the expression of Goddess? Or perhaps you wish to learn how to express yourself through movement, to connect through chakra dance, embodiment, kundalini and yoga flow.

As we dance and flow through the wheel of the seasons, the ancestral lineage of dance calls to you. We practice and learn embodied dance and rhythm. We look to ancient dance practice and weave the Temple Dancer which resides within us all. You will learn sacred movement and bring this forward through personal and group dynamics.

We work with the energy and flow of a Priestess, the Shaman, The Maiden, The Lover, The Mother, The Stars and The Crone, through deep journey She offers her dance to you, in which you will learn to express Goddess, Her dance, and the dance of your sacred soul. In addition to individual movement, we create and bring forward dances from the ancient world into being.

This course has four intensive one day workshops delivered over two weekends, with an online evening weaving session to connect and discuss inner work and progress between weekends. Suitable for all abilities. No previous dance experience required. These workshops draw on your natural rhythms and expression.

Each workshop provides the opportunity for self-movement, evolution, expression, healing and deepening our connection to our bodies. Each day also offers co-creation. Inspired by ancient temple dancers, together we recreate and bring through ancient dance. We consider the season, working through ancient offerings. Those attending are offered the chance to connect to the dance of their soul- our work, self and individual expression, dances of co-creation: community, group work, flow, harmony and outward expression, sacred paths and rhythms, invocation, yoga dance, mudras and womb work. Participants will connect with the expression of Goddess and the expression of the ancient past through drawing threads of ancient and scared dance and rhythms, bringing them forward into being.

These workshops will help those who wish to add dance, rhythm, energetic practice and movement into their work and will enable you to use ‘dance’ in a variety of ways.

These are deep and magical workshops, harnessing and bringing forth your divine rhythm in alignment with the flow of Goddess.
