Please note that except in very unusual circumstances the Email training is only open to people living outside the UK  – also do ensure you have read the full course description: you need to be able to come to Glastonbury three times during the training year.

Spiral Two Email is open to those who have successfully completed Spiral One of the Priestess/Priest of Avalon Training.

The Second Spiral Email course provides a vital next step towards Self-Initiation as a Priestess of the Goddess and of Avalon. Delving more deeply into the Mysteries of Avalon this year long training offers opportunities to develop practical priestessing skills, and to explore your role as a Goddess ceremonialist, counsellor, visionary and spiritual friend. All of the skills you learn empower you to take on the visible public role of being Her Priestess or Priest in the world, and aid you in creating, supporting and developing new Goddess Events, Communities and Temples in your land. The Spiral culminates in a ceremony of Self-Dedication as Priestess or Priest of the Goddess.

The Second Spiral Email Correspondence Course begins with a two-day visit to Glastonbury on 2/3 November 2024.

Spiral Two comprises eight sessions of distance learning, assignments, tutorials and supervision spread over one year. Every five-six weeks students will be sent Microsoft Word documents by email, containing written and experiential tasks to complete over the following weeks. These must be recorded as written work, reports, journal excerpts, art and craftwork with digital photographs where appropriate, and sent by email to Patricia Sutherland for assessment and feedback. Distance students will also have the opportunity to telephone or Skype their tutor for a personal 30 minute tutorial once every six weeks.

Distance students are required to attend three compulsory tuition sessions in Glastonbury during the Second Spiral. The first two-day session is the opening weekend of the Second Spiral in Glastonbury on 2/3 November 2024, meeting with all students taking the Second Spiral. The second three-day session is 7/8/9 February 2025 and the third three-day session is 12/13/14 September 2025. This final session includes walking the Glastonbury Tor Labrynth and a Ceremony of Self-Dedication as a Priestess or Priest of the Goddess.

If you are able to please attend other course weekends.

During these teaching sessions students will deepen their connection to the landscape, spirituality and culture of Glastonbury Avalon and have the opportunity to visit the Goddess Temple and sacred sites of Glastonbury. They meet other students on the Correspondence and Glastonbury courses, as well as Self-initiated Priestesses and Priests of Avalon. Course fees cover tuition for these eight teaching days in Glastonbury, but do not include accommodation, food, travel or insurance, which must be arranged and paid for separately. Recommendations for B&B or hotel accommodation will be given.

During the Second Spiral we invite you to visit the Oracle of the Lady of Avalon offered in each season at Goddess House to receive further guidance on your path to becoming a Priestess/Priest of Avalon.
